360° Gaussian
Software for automatically training 3D Gaussian splats from 360° video or image sequences.
360 Gaussian is free software, while Automasker is a paid feature. Automasker is a standalone program that can be used individually and controlled via CLI commands.

Workflow:
- Use FFmpeg to extract images from equirectangular video or stills
- Use OpenCV pinhole to extract splits from 360° material
- Adjustable tilt: -30°, 0°, +30°
- Adjustable FOV and resolution
- Optional: Use Automasker to mask elements from images (e.g., camera operator)
Alignment can be selected from three options:
- Postshot native
- RealityScan - has the option to use markers for scaling
- COLMAP - uses a camera rig system for alignment
Training:
- Postshot (full automatic workflow requires Studio license)
- Brush (free, open source)
About the Developer:
I'm a solo developer who started creating this software to meet my own need for fast, batch-processed 3DGS from film locations for virtual location scouting.
